People.

today i want to write about the people in my life. There aren't very many that i really let in and that i can really call a part of my life. Its not that I don't want to, I haven't had any bad people experiences, I just don't . I like who is in my life and i don't want any of them to go anywhere and I know they won't. Thats why they are here. Do you watch Grey's Anatomy? She calls the people IN her life her people. I am like her. I have lots of friends and people I know, but not very many people are IN my life. She calls them her people. Here are my people.
Family- Mom, Dad, Two brothers ( KJ and Garrett). They are awesome. We fight like you can't believe, we hate each other most of the time, and there is a lot of yelling. But we can laugh like no other family. We all do stupid things and call each other out on it every time we see it. We are rude and arrogant. But we love each other. Always. We are a family for forever. That never ends. We will always be there for each other. No body can change that and we know it.
My grandparents. Both sides.
-Moms parents: Gram and Pop. Gram is insane. She is literally insane. She can be happy and laughing gone moment but the next she wants to kill you. It has become a huge joke in our family. But she is also amazing. She will do anything for us. Me and my brothers are the only grandkids she has (more details on that later) and she spoils us rotten. She will do anything in her power to get us what we need or want and it always happens. I love her more than you can imagine.
Pop is one of the most amazing people I have ever known. He grew up with nothing and has made everything out of himself. He has an amazing career and he loves it. He has survived cancer. He has dealt with multiple deaths of his family without batting an eye. he is the smartest person I have ever met. he is literally a genius. He is also one of the funniest people I have ever known. He has this laugh... his deputy dog laugh. It fills up the room and you cant help but laugh when you hear it. He is the rock. He holds my grandma together and puts up with all her crap. I love him more than you could ever imagine.
-Dads parents: Grandma. She is the sweetest person I know. She is just happy and loving all the time. She alway knows what to say and what to do. I just cant describe her in words. You just have to meet her. My best friend goes to college about two blocks away form where they live and she has become my best friends and her roommates grandma. They go over for dinner and go to her for advice and just for a hug. I love her more than words can say.
Grandpa. Him and my dad are exactly alike. They don't know it but they are. They both have hard shells. They look scary and overpowering. They are they most sincere and kind people I know. Grandpa will do anything for anyone and he won't bat an eye. He is so loving and kind. he is the hardest worker I know. His work ethic is unlike anything I have ever seen. And thank heavens he has passed it down through the generations.
These two guys are amazing. They are like ideal grandparents. They are perfect in my eyes. They have given me some amazing opportunities. They took me to my college to check it out. They took me to yellowstone, the grand Tetons, and jackson hole. They have taken me to see things that my parents never would have. I cant thank them enough. I love them. They are the rocks of my dads family. None of them get along to well, but they make sure that we always talk to each other and at least respect each other. They do so many little things that make all the difference in the world. They are amazing.
Friends- Meghan: we have been friends since the sixth grade. she has lived around the corner from me since then. We have both always had different friends but when something big happens, good or bad, we always come back to one another no matter what. we are the first ones we tell everything. when her mom was cheating on her dad and they were getting a divorce, she came to our house. when my parents were fighting or i just couldn't handle my brothers anymore, i went to her. when she got into her dream college, she called me. when i got into mine, i called her. when she was nervous and scared about leaving, she came to me. when i needed someone to talk to i went to her. she will always be there and i know she will. she has amazing qualities. she sees the good in everyone no matter what. i can say something mean about someone and immediately she says something nice about them that completely makes me feel like a total jerk for saying what i said. she is amazing and i love her. you couldn't have a better friend in life.
Natalie: she is the only good friend i have in church. Me and her are each others confidants. we talk about things that nobody else understands. we talk about what we want out of the rest of our lives, we talk about all the stuff that everyone else finds weird or "to much in the future". She is so kind hearted and has the same find the good in everyone thing as Meghan. she is more like a sister to me than anything. we have known each other since we were seven years old and have been friends ever since. i love her. she is the best. we can not see each other for weeks and then can start up right where we left off. its awesome. she is amazing.
Family Friends ( or just family): The G's: I love this family. Holly and Jeremy are like an aunt and uncle to me. they are young and full of energy. they have four kids that are like cousins to me. they are all so adorable and sweet. the three boys are so cute. the oldest is awesome. the second is quiet but he is a planner. he plans stuff out and you never see it coming. the third is hilarious. he is just stinken funny. and my girl. S. she is the sweetest and most annoying little thing ever. i was there when she was born and have been a part of her life ever since. she calls me her kalli and she is like a daughter for me almost. i am kind of like her godmother. she is so sweet and i love her to death. this family is just amazing. they are so much fun to be with. they have been there always been there for me and my family. we can call them at two am and they wont think anything of it. they are just amazing.
The F family: these people are my family. they aren't just friends, they are family. we treat each other like family. we fight, we laugh and we love each other. chris is my (other) mom. she has so much to offer. its like every area my mom lacks in she makes up for and vise versa. pete is like my second dad. its the same thing with him and my dad. they make up for what other lacks. i love it. i love having four people that i can go to for anything. i love having four different perspectives in what i do and what i want to do. they have all helped me in so many different ways. and my five extra brothers. casey, eric, christian, ian and russell. they are awesome. casey is the oldest and me and him are ALOT alike. (both the oldest and all) we share a lot of the same interests and stuff and think the same way. we have become really good friends and he is my oldest brother. eric is crazy. he is a weirdo and i love him for it. he always keeps the comic relief coming and is just so nice. christian... so much to say about him. he is extreme. in all sense of the word. he does stuff all out, or not a all. when he screws up, he screws up big time. and when he succeeds its the coolest thing int he world. i love him to death, he is probably one of the closest friends i have. he is my brother. if i was ever in any bad situation i could count on him. he is so tough and can take a lot of crap and he puts  up with it like a champ. i really respect that. Ian. his nick name is hymee. as in he is high matnence. he is always the one complaining and whining but eh is so much fun to be with it doesn't matter. Russell is the youngest out of everyone. he is funny. super funny. but no one thinks so but me and my mom. he annoys the crap out of everyone but the line wouldn't be complete without him. we love that kid. these people are my brothers and my family. i would be nowhere without them . i love them so much and think the world of them. they are the best brothers you could ask for.

these are my people. mom, dad, kj, garrett, grandma, grandpa, gram, pop, holly, jeremy, wyatt, dylan, canyon, sayge, pete, chris, casey, eric, christian, ian, russell, meghan, and natalie.
Love you guys. thanks for putting up with me and loving me.

Hmm...

Journal blog, day two. (yesterday)
good day. everyone was happy today. nobody got mad at each other or was yelling. it was great.
went to class in the morning (institute book of mormon class). every tuesday and thursday morning i have an awesome BOM class taught by brother abbot. its great. yesterday we studied 2nd nephi: 9. i love that chapter. its one of my favorites. it makes it so much more meaningful and easier to understand when you apply it to yourself specifically. brother abbot does an awesome job of really actually teaching a lesson, not just preaching. it great.
after class  i stopped by grams house to pick up the carpet cleaner... dun dun dunnnnnn. then came home and spent two hours cleaning the living room carpet. according to mom it doesn't smell like dog butt in here anymore so i guess it was successful.then i cleaned the kitchen. that was fun.
work came next. it was really slow so we just messed around the entire time. it was a good night. ali and ash are great to close with. they both just get stuff done. drake and kyle were there for a little while. they are soo stinken funny.
got home around ten and cleaned out the fridge. it actually wasn't to dirty so that was nice.
why all the cleaning you ask??
grandma and grandpa are coming tomorrow!!!!!
i love it when they come.  they are just so cute and funny. and we always have fun when they are here. grandma is the sweetest most loving and kind person i know. she is amazing.
grandpa is just like dad. hard on the outside but squishy and sweet on the inside. he is so funny. not like joke funny but he is just a funny dude.
i love them both so much and i love it when they are here.
i cant wait to only be a few hours away from them, it will be so nice to be able to see them more.
then i went to bed. uneventful but good day.
will chat with you tomorrow

    Ready set go.

First day of my journal blog.
    And so it begins.
    Today was seemingly uneventful.
Woke up, went to work, blah, blah, blah.
Work was good today, normally it stinks.
Some pretty hilarious kids came it today. One kid come in screaming like he almost just got eaten alive by a dinosaur. Turns out he was just really excited to get ice cream. Another kid came in with his grandma (who does NOT look like a grandma) and he had down syndrome. His grandma told him to go sit down and eat his ice cream but she forgot to had him his ice cream so he, instead of sitting down, came around the back of the counter and grabbed a spoon off the counter and stared eating the ice cream he wanted right out of the tub in the case. We couldn't do anything but laugh so thats what we did. We had to throw away the rest of the tub because he had more than one bite and other customers probably didn't want to eat his spit. He was happy though so it was all ok. My boss doesn't know about that event. Oops. I love it when cool kids come in. It makes work so much better.
After work: came home, mom made steak quesodillas, they were amazing. took kj to nicks house, bought nick and kj ice cream, took garrett to 7 eleven, got mom a diet coke. tried a root beer slurpee... AMAZING!!! came home and watched kate plus eight (you will soon learn that i have many tv addictions. i don't often get to watch them but i always record them.. ha!). and i just watch 19 kids and counting... i love the duggers!! haha. i am now finishing this up and then off to bed!!
i will most likely be doing a "get to know me blog soon enough" i feel very disconnected writing to people that hardly now anything about me...
    xo, Kalli

    A day in the life...

is basically what this blog will be. I have been meaning to start keeping a journal for a really long time and somehow i just cant make myself do it so i figured this would be a fun and slightly entertaining way to get it started. I am fully aware that i am subjecting myself to some serious embarrassment in the blogging community and oddly enough I looking forward to it. I have an average life. Amazing but average. I have an amazing family, mom, dad, two brothers. I have a dog and a cat and a fish. I have a job at pretty stink-en cool place. I just graduated high school and I will start college in january. I live in the one of the most beautiful places in earth. It's where you dream about vacationing and where celebrities go to get away for a quick trip. Its where pro surfers from around the world come to get in some hard core surfing (i can hold my own out there withe them i must say) and its where every single pro cyclist in the US comes to train for big races (my mom is an avid cyclist and has held herself together in a pace line with Lance Armstrong and Levi Leipheimer, ya you just read that). Life is great. Growing up in a place like this has been a pure dream (of course we have had our trials and short comings but we have been very blessed in many ways). And lastly I am a member of The Church if Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is what my life revolves around, without it I seriously do not know where I would be. I love it. I will detail many more parts of my life in future blogs and such.

So her it goes. I will be posting every day (hopefully) wether it be just a short blip about the day or a long drawn out spiritually related or just ramble. It should get interesting in the coming months so stay tuned.

    xo, Kalli
